Dr. Dulal Saha, MBBS, FDRC (Chennai), is a dedicated diabetes physician with more than three decades of experience in diabetes care. He has been serving people with diabetes in Cooch Behar since 1991, focusing on prevention, early detection, monitoring, and effective management of diabetes. His Diabetes and Health Care Centre, located at Patakura, Golebagan, Ward No. 18, near Kalibari, Cooch Behar, provides comprehensive diabetes consultation, blood sugar assessment, lifestyle and dietary guidance, diabetes monitoring, complication prevention, and patient education. The clinic also offers pharmacy services with a 10% discount. Dr. Saha’s mission is to empower people with scientific knowledge for healthier lives.

To increase awareness of diabetes and empower people with scientific knowledge and guidance, so that we can lead healthy, productive and peaceful social lives.

I believe that healthcare should go beyond prescribing medicines. Knowledge is an important part of treatment. When people understand their health, they are better able to make informed choices and take responsibility for their wellbeing.

Through the clinic, educational programmes, digital platforms and my books on diabetes, I hope to make reliable diabetes information available to as many people as possible.

Over many years of clinical practice, I have encountered countless questions and misconceptions about diabetes. These experiences inspired me to write books in Bengali, Hindi and English, presenting common questions about diabetes in a simple question-and-answer format.

My aim is to make diabetes education understandable not only to medical professionals, but also to patients, family members and ordinary members of society.

Today, through Diabetes Care with Dr. Dulal Saha, I am also using digital platforms to extend diabetes awareness beyond the clinic and reach people who may not have easy access to reliable health information.
